Bengaluru-based Hosmat Hospitals plans to expand its network by adding 150–200 beds over the next five years, and extending its reach to tier-2 cities like Mangaluru, Mysuru, and Karwar.
The hospital currently operates 550 beds and aims for a 20–30 percent annual revenue growth, largely driven by its newest unit. In addition to physical expansion, Hosmat is strengthening its home-care services, which have grown 400 percent over the past year, and is adding new specialties such as oncology, pain management, gynecology, and cosmetology. The hospital also plans to launch mobile clinics with ambulances equipped with physiotherapists, nurses, and lab technicians to serve patients in need of post-operative rehab and chronic care management.
“We want to go deeper into Karnataka before expanding nationally. The aim is to bring care closer to people instead of them travelling long distances,” said Anisha Chandy Eckardt, Managing Director of Hosmat Hospitals.
