IRB Infrastructure Developers has emerged as the successful bidder and has also received a Letter of Award (LoA) for the Kaithal - Rajasthan border section in the state of Haryana.
The company has bagged the project from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The scope of the project includes four laning of the Kaithal - Rajasthan border section of NH-152/65 from 33.250 km to 241.580 km, which will be implemented as BOT (Toll) on DBFOT pattern, under NHDP Phase-IV.
The estimated cost of the project, having a length of 166 km, is Rs 2,300 crore. The construction period is 910 days and the project has a concession period of 27 years.
Apart from this, IRB has sought Rs 234 crore as viability gap funding from NHAI.
The Kaithal - Rajasthan border section will connect Ambala with important towns such as Kaithal, Barwala, and Hisar upto the Rajasthan border. It will also provide connectivity to NH-10.
