On 12 February 2014, Mapanna Mallikarjun Kharge, presented the Interim Railway Budget for 2014-15 in the Lok Sabha.
The annual plan has been envisaged at Rs 64,305 crore with a budgetary support of Rs 30,223 crore.
Highlights of the budget are as follows:
