International Tractors, belonging to Sonalika Group, is looking forward to expanding the manufacturing capacity at its facility located in Hoshiarpur district of Punjab.

The company is planning to increase its manufacturing capacity at an estimated cost of Rs 500 crore, and the facility is likely to be functional by March 2015.

After doubling the manufacturing capacity, the company will produce 500 tractors a day (1.50 lakh units per annum) as against the manufacturing of 260 tractors a day, currently.

Apart from this, the company is looking forward to establishing a new tractor assembly facility in Turkey with a size of 20,000 units per annum.

It is also looking forward to launching a new range of tractors with a higher capacity of 75 HP and 100 HP. Also, the company is planning for a sub 20 HP range of tractors for gardening purposes, which are in demand in countries like France and Germany.
