JCB India, a wholly-owned subsidiary of UK-based construction and agriculture machinery manufacturer, J C Bamford Excavators (JCB), is planning to commission its manufacturing unit in Jaipur, Rajasthan by April 2014.
The project, estimated to cost Rs 500 crore, will produce components for construction and agriculture equipment. This is the company's fourth manufacturing facility in India. The project, spread over 115 acre, will be developed in two units. Unit-I of the project will commence production by April 2014, while Unit-II will be ready by June 2014.
JCB India has three operational manufacturing facilities- one in Ballabhgarh, Haryana, and two in Pune, Maharashtra.
