JK Lakshmi Cement has announced plans to invest Rs 1,816 crore to expand its manufacturing capabilities in Chhattisgarh.
The investment aims to increase clinker production capacity by 2.31 MTPA and cement grinding capacity by 1.2 MTPA. This expansion will strengthen the company’s ability to cater to the growing demand for building materials in Eastern and Central India. The memorandum of understanding (MoU) for this project was signed during the Chhattisgarh Investor Connect event, attended by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. The company’s expansion supports its long-term goal to increase its overall production capacity to 30 MTPA in the coming years.
"This expansion marks an important step in how we are shaping JK Lakshmi Cement's next phase of growth," said Shrivats Singhania, Deputy Managing Director of JK Lakshmi Cement.
