JSW Motors and KPIT Technologies have entered into a strategic collaboration to build a robust software and digital backbone for India's new energy vehicle (NEV) ecosystem.
The partnership announced in Pune, aims to fast-track India's clean mobility revolution by combining KPIT’s proven capabilities in software-defined vehicles (SDVs) with JSW’s automotive plans. KPIT, with experience in over 2,000 global vehicle production programs, will bring deep technical expertise in software and systems development. This collaboration supports JSW Motors’ vision to reshape India’s automotive landscape through innovation and global partnerships.
JSW Motors, a newly launched vertical of the JSW Group, has committed to invest Rs 24,900 crore over the next five years to develop electric, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid vehicles. Its first NEV is expected to debut in the second half of FY26. To support this, a 630-acre automotive hub is being developed at Bidkin, Maharashtra, blending global excellence with local innovation.
The partnership also signals KPIT’s long-term commitment to the Indian market and highlights both companies’ dedication to delivering world-class customer experiences and advancing India’s transition to sustainable transportation.
