Jackson Group, the leading power solutions provider and better known for its world class hotels next to the industrial hub, is investing Rs 200 crore in the hospitality sector.
In Phase-I, the company will be investing Rs 200 crore in the hospitality sector over the next couple of months. With this investment, the company has diversified its business to the hospitality sector.
Apart from this, the Jackson Group, particularly known for its business class hotels next to the industrial hub, is planning to open 20 such hotels under the Jackson Inns brand around industrial hubs by 2020, which will have about 2,000 rooms.
Also, the company is setting up two, three star properties in Maharashtra and one in Gujarat.
Both the three star properties in Maharashtra are coming up at Phaltan, in Satara district. Out of the two, the first hotel at Phaltan will be set up at a cost of Rs 40 crore, and it will offer 80 rooms facility, which is likely to be operational by July 2014. Work on the second Phaltan property is expected to begin shortly.
Similarly, a three star property will also be set up in Gujarat’s Sanand district in Ahmedabad, and construction work on the same is expected to begin shortly. The Sanand hotel will offer 100 rooms facility. Also, the company is looking to set up three or four hotels at other industrial hubs in Gujarat.
