L&T Construction has received orders worth Rs 1,454 crore across Water, Power transmission and Buildings segment.
The company has bagged an order worth Rs 579 crore from the Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board for providing combine water supply scheme to Attur-Narsingpuram municipalities and the Vellore Corporation in Tamil Nadu. The scheme will cater to 20 town panchayats, 1,345 rural habitations in Salem district, 11 municipalities, five town panchayats and 944 rural habitations in Vellore district.
It has received orders worth Rs 351 crore in the Power transmission sector that includes construction of an electrical balance of plant works for a 2x660 MW super thermal power plant. However, details of the awarder and location of the order have not been disclosed. Another order is from Gulbarga Electricity Supply Company for various electrical works in Gulbarga and Bidar districts of Karnataka under RAPDRP (Part-B). In this sector, the company has also bagged international orders worth Rs 320 crore for construction of 132/11 kV substation in Kuwait.
In Buildings sector, the company has secured orders worth Rs 204 crore for various ongoing projects.
