L&T Construction has managed to secure new orders with a total value of Rs 1,423 crore across various business segments.
The company’s heavy civil infrastructure business has received a Rs 631 crore order from the Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation. It will construct the North South Corridor - 8.5 km elevated viaducts and eight elevated stations.
Apart from this, three major orders, including the additional orders from on-going jobs valued at Rs 792 crore, were bagged by its power transmission and distribution business.
The orders include a turnkey order in Uttar Pradesh, of the Power Grid Corporation of India; an order of the Himachal Pradesh Transmission Corporation for its project in Chamba district; and an order from North Bihar Power Distribution Company.
