The MMRDA has firmed up plan to offer an additional built-up area of the Bandra-Kurla Complex in suburban Mumbai.
The authority has offered 5.45 ha (about 54,000 sq mtrs) in the E block of the Bandra-Kurla Complex. The area is given to plot holders at a premium of 200 per cent of the ready-reckoner rate. Also, the authority has relaxed the rules to develop a plot within a period of four to six years, with plot holders not having to pay any penalty. The new policy will be applicable to holders who have held plots for less than four years. Further, it has decided to waive five per cent of premium for additional basement parking in the Complex.
