Indian automotive major, Mahindra, is planning to construct a new auto assembly plant and service centre in Ghana.
The new manufacturing unit will come up over 9.5 acre. The project will explore the potential of the fast expanding local automobile market and offer quality and affordable vehicles and services to meet an increasing market demand in Ghana and other neighbouring countries.
In order to increase its presence in a foreign country, the company has joined with the local financial institution, Fidelity Bank, to provide financial assistance to customers through hire-purchase and lease schemes.
