The Margherita Thermal Power plant is set to get coal linkages following a decision taken by the Union government.
The decision was taken in a day long conference of the Assam State Power Ministers convened by the Union Power Ministry yesterday.
The 660 MW Margherita Thermal Plant is being set up with an investment of Rs 7,920 crore.
The government of Assam and NEEPCO are likely to finish construction work of the project within four years.
