Maxx plans to set up 100 ‘smartcare centres’ in order to strengthen its after-sales services delivery.
The company will invest Rs 100 crore in the next few quarters to achieve the target.
Maxx will first start with opening 15 centres. These will come up in metros and cities like Pune, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Vijayawada, Indore and Nagpur among others. These smartcare centres will be company-owned.
Maxx expects to close the March 2015 fiscal with Rs 600 crore in revenue.
The company plans on launching about 25 models this year with 15 smartphones; the rest will be feature phones.
