The Central Electricity Authority (CEA) has accorded clearance to Reliance Power’s (R-Power) 700 MW Tato hydro power project in Arunachal Pradesh.
With this, R-Power has received all major clearances for the Rs 6,000-crore Run-of-the-River (RoR) project. The project with four units of 175 MW each is being set up in the West Siang district in the north-eastern state on the Siyom river. The project would generate 3,000 Million Units (MUs) of electricity at 50 per cent Plant Load factor (PLF).
