DHL Supply Chain is planning to set up more multi-client sites (MCS) across India.
The company is likely to invest Rs 680 crore to build and develop eight MCS across the country. The new MCS facilities will be located in Mumbai, Gurgaon, Delhi (NCR), Bangalore, Nagpur, Chennai, Kolkata and Ahmedabad. With this the company plans to add five million sq ft of additional warehousing space in the country.
Also, part of the investment will be used to upgrade its current fleet with technologically advanced transportation vehicles.
