Apollo LogiSolutions is planning to invest in expansion in India.

The company will invest Rs 500 crore in acquisitions and greenfield projects. The company is planning to set up its network of seven container freight stations across India. Four out of these will be operational by December 2013 in locations including Delhi and Chennai. As a part of its expansion the company will set up 28 warehouses through lease agreements and partnerships in key locations.

Meanwhile, the company has signed 60:40 JV with Germany based Fiege Logistics. The new company - Apollo Fiege - will provide integrated logistics services like customs brokerage, freight forwarding, transportation etc. By March 2013 Apollo Fiege will have offices across 20 locations in India and make an investment of about $10 million (approx Rs 54 crore) in the next two to three years.
