Neyveli Lignite Corporation plans to set up a Solar PV system at the Neyveli Township in Cuddalore district of Tamil Nadu for which it is scouting for a developer.
The company intends to develop a 10 MW power project with an investment of Rs 133.19 crore. For this, the company has invited bids. The scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacture, supply, transport, storage, erection, testing and commissioning of a 10 MW grid interactive solar PV power plant upto the grid interconnection point of Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) substation, complete with all accessories on lumpsum turnkey basis, including operation and maintenance for three years with a one year warranty period.
As per the tender document, the solar modules proposed to be offered for the project should be of mono / poly silicon crystalline flat plate solar technology. The modules should also have been type tested as per IEC 61215 Standard and shall not be less than 220 Wp power rating.
