Omkar Realtors and Developers is in discussions with global investor, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts and Co’s (KKR) local arm, KKR India Asset Finance.
The companies are in talks to raise Rs 400 crore for a luxury residential project in Worli.
The project, called ‘1973’, spread across five million sq ft and three towers, is still under construction. The 400 homes in the project are constructed according to each customer’s specifications. Each home consists of an area between 2,500 to 18,200 sq ft. The price ranges from Rs 15 crore to Rs 100 crore.
Omkar realty has raised Rs 200 crore from Ajay Piramal-backed real estate fund - Indiareit Fund Advisors - in 2011, for the 1973 project.
