1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

PGCIL awards contracts across the country

Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL), has awarded various contracts worth Rs 1,146 crore across the country.

 

An order worth Rs  529 crore has been bagged by Tata Projects for tower packages-TW02 for 765 kV D/C (Hexa Zebra) Angul-Jharsuguda transmission line under common transmission system associated with East Coast & NCC Power Projects in Srikakulam area, Andhra Pradesh (Part-B). (Pkg CC-CS/159-ER2/TW-1952/3/G7).

 

Larsen & Toubro has received a contract worth Rs 325 crore for tower packages-TW01 for 765 kV D/C (Hexa Zebra) Angul-Jharsuguda transmission line under common transmission system associated with East Coast & NCC Power Projects in Srikakulam area, Andhra Pradesh (Part-B). (Pkg CC-CS/159-ER2/TW-1952/3/G7).

 

Techno Electric & Engineering has secured a contract worth Rs 199 crore for substation package for EXT of 765kV Angul S/S, EXT of 765kV Jharsuguda S/S, EXT of 765kV Dharamjaigarh S/S, 400kV Srikakulam (new) S/S and EXT of 765kV Angul S/S, EXT of 400kV Srikakulam pooling station, EXT of 400/220kV (AIS) Melakottaiyur (Kalivanthapattu), EXT of Kota S/S. (Pkg CC-CS/160-ER2/SS-1836/3/G1).

 

PGCL has awarded a contract worth Rs 93 crore to TBEA Shenyang Transformer Group for Reactor package R2 and R3 under transmission system for Phase-I generation projects in Jharkhand and West Bengal (Part-B) and Phase-I generation projects in Orissa (Part-C) (system strengthening WR-NR transmission corridor) (Pkg CC-CS/193-NR1/RT-1400/3/G1/R)
