PNC Infratech has emerged as the Lowest (L1) bidder for the development of Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport, Varanasi.
The scope of work includes extension of the runway, re-carpeting, strengthening of the existing runway, and allied infrastructure tasks. Issued by Airports Authority of India (AAI), the execution period for the order is fixed at 18 months.
The company quoted a bid value of Rs. 297.01 crore. Financial bids were officially opened on 02 September, 2025.
This development reinforces PNC Infratech’s position as a key infrastructure player in the aviation sector, with capability in high-value civil engineering works, particularly airport development. The award highlights continued government investment in airport modernisation.
