The Kerala-based Rubfila International, a manufacturer of silicon-coated rubber threads in India, is planning to invest Rs 105 crore in its capex plan.
The capex plan will include increasing the production capacity from the present 10,000 tonne to 25,000 tonne; diversifying into latex-related products; and a phased expansion in Pollachi, where the company has acquired 12 acre of land. The cost of expansion will be funded from internal accruals.
Apart from this, the company has lined up an investment of Rs 15 crore for expansion. Of this, Rs 9.5 crore has been invested in its present manufacturing facility in Kanjikode to increase the capacity from 6,350 tonne to 10,000 tonne.
Meanwhile, with the focus on both, exports as well as the domestic market, the next phase of expansion to 13,000 tonne capacity will be completed by the end of the current fiscal.
