Samson Controls, a wholly owned subsidiary of Germany-based Samson AG, is planning to set up its plant at Ranjangoan near Pune district of Maharashtra.
Samson Controls will invest €10 million (approx. Rs 71.3 crore) for the control valves manufacturing unit. The project is part of the company's expansion plan. It is expected to increase the company's installed capacity from the existing 10,000 control valves per annum, by 40 per cent over the next three years.
Meanwhile, the company is implementing new investments to introduce new product portfolios from Samson Germany to India.
In India, Samson makes products such as globe control valves, conventional positioners, and self-operated pressure and temperature regulators.
