Siegwerk, a global leader in printing inks and coatings, announced an investment of Rs 350 crore over the next three years to expand its India operations.
The move will significantly enhance its Global Innovation and Capability Centre (GICC), manufacturing facilities, and distribution network. Positioned as a hub for global research and development, the GICC will integrate innovation, regulatory compliance, digital operations, and customer support. The facility aims to deliver packaging ink solutions aligned with safety and circularity standards.
The company has already expanded its blending facility in Pune with automation systems to bolster supply chain efficiency, particularly as demand for water-based inks grows. Expansion includes a National Distribution Centre in Tauru and 14 colour matching centres nationwide. CEO Manjusha Singh added, “This investment is not just about expansion, it’s about shaping the future of packaging in India.”
