Sri Santhanalakshmi Spinners is setting up a polyster viscose yarn unit at Tiruchengode, in Namakkal district of Tamil Nadu.
A spokesperson for the company informed ProjectsToday that the total expenditure for this project, with a capacity of 32,00 spindles, is Rs 25 crore. Around 60 per cent of the project cost will be funded through bank loans and the balance 40 per cent from internal accruals. At present, 30 percent of the project work has been completed.
Sri Santhanalakshmi Spinners has acquired six acre of land and appointed Shiv Guari Contractor, Coimbatore, as the civil contractor. Chola Spinning Mills and Lakshmi Machine Works are supplying machinery for the project.
