At the TN Rising Investment Conclave, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin witnessed the signing of 158 MoUs, committing Rs 43,844 crore in investments, with the potential for generating employment for 1,00,709 persons.
Among these, Sakthi Aircraft Industry will establish a state-of-the-art 2-seater trainer aircraft manufacturing unit in Tirupur district with a Rs 500 crore investment, creating 1,200 high skilled work opportinities . This facility will be the state’s first-of-its-kind, pushing Tamil Nadu to the forefront of India’s aerospace industry. Other key investments include Cingularity Aerospace's drone facility in Krishnagiri (Rs 50 crore, 500 work roles) and MindOx Techno’s semiconductor plant in Coimbatore (Rs 398 crore, 460 roles).
Caliber Interconnects will invest Rs 3,000 crore in a semiconductor and power electronics plant, and will provide employment for 4,000 people. Chief Minister Stalin emphasised that the state’s strategic industrial planning would elevate Tamil Nadu to global standards.
