The Minister emphasized that this initiative strengthens India’s electronics manufacturing value chain, supporting the government’s vision of self-reliance. Highlighting the strategic importance, he said, "The lithium-ion batteries used in mobile phones, and wearables like watches, earbuds, airpods and laptops will now be manufactured in India in this very advanced plant of TDK Corporation."
