Wave Infratech, real estate developer is planning to invest Rs 3,000 crore for its integrated modern township project – Wave Estates – at Mohali in Punjab.
Of total, Rs 2,000 crore will be the built up cost of township. The company is planning to develop ‘Wave Estates’ township project over 300 acre in sectors 85 and 99 in Mohali. The project involves development of plots, group housing, villas, floors, shop cum offices, commercial plots including building a hotel, mall, multiplex, primary and secondary schools. The floors and villas of the township project will be designed by architectural firm, Studio DRA, UK while the landscaping will be designed by planning experts W S Atkins. The entire project is expected to be completed by 2019, while construction of villas, floors and other facilities is expected to be completed by 2017.
The project has received approval from the Punjab Government as a mega township. It has also received all necessary clearances including environmental clearance.
