This infographic highlights the top 5 states as per projex investment in Jan - Dec 2013. Uttar Pradesh topped the list by attracting project investments worth Rs 63,998 crore from 383 fresh projects. It was followed by Gujarat with investments worth Rs 56,867 crore from 486 projects.
Overall, the 5 states accounted for 47 per cent of the total project investment of Rs 575,952 crore during Jan-Dec 2013. Lucknow Metro rail project, Tuna-Tekra Container terminal project, Outer Ring Road project in Surat were the major projects announced in these states.
