Alstom T&D India has bagged an order from Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) for upgrading the grid infrastructure in eastern India.
The contract, valued Rs 200 crore, will supply transformers for upgrading and expansion of 400/200 kV grid substations across eastern India.
The project is part of the Eastern Region Strengthening Scheme of PGCIL, which aims to improve the transmission infrastructure in the states of West Bengal, Odisha and Bihar.
