Apollo is planning to open 12 hospitals in the next three years with a total investment of Rs 2,032.7 crore.
Based on the plan, it will add 2,175 beds over a period of three years. From the calculated cost of Rs 2,032.7 crore, already Rs 590.1 crore has been invested.
The hospitals will possess super-speciality facilities. One of them will be multi-speciality and the other, a reach hospital. Apart from this, other initiatives such as e-ICU and mobile health too have been given utmost significance.
The successful expansion will help to secure dominance in cities such as Chennai, and to widen its reach in Bangalore. At present, the Chennai-based healthcare chain has 50 hospitals with a capacity of 8,617 beds.
