Bharti Airtel will invest Rs 2,000 crore over the next three years in order to improve customer experience and will also launch pan-India Voice over LTE (VoLTE) services by late 2017.
The service provider under Project Next will remodel its 2,500 retail stores to make them Apple-like in order to deliver all services without paperwork.
The service provider will take more initiatives under Project Next in the next 18-24 months, to become a fully digital. In the initial phase, trials and testing are being conducted in five cities.
The investment of Rs 2,000 crore will be spent on upgrading services across the board, which will mean investments into all company interface points with the consumer, including retail stores, the app and customer care.
