Clariant Chemicals (India), has received its board's approval for capacity expansion at its plants at Roha in Raigad, Maharashtra.
The company has Azo pigments and pigment preparation units at Roha. It will expand its capacity with an investment of Rs 38 crore. The investment includes construction of a new pigment plant to double its capacity.
Meanwhile, Clariant has commenced operations at its Cuddalore site in Tamil Nadu under the upgraded technical service laboratory for pigments. Also, the company is planning to set up an oil field chemical unit with a capacity of 1,500 tonne per month at Roha.
