HCL will develop IT city over 100 acre of land at Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh.
The project has been awarded by Uttar Pradesh government to Vamasundari Investments, the investment arm of HCL.
Of the total 100 acre, about 60 acre of the proposed IT city project will be allotted for IT and ITeS, including a hi-tech skill development centre with a capacity to train more than 5,000 people. The remaining 40 acre will be allotted for infrastructure development and initiates of social impact.
Apart from this, HCL has a 46 acre SEZ campus in Noida. The group also runs the Shiv Nadar Foundation, which operates Shiv Nadar University in Dadri, VidyaGyan Leadership Academies in Blandisher and Sitapur, and Shiv Nadar School in Noida.
