Indsur Global, an exporter of power and casting equipments, has commissioned Phase-I of its modernisation and expansion project, at its Halol plant in Panchmahal district of Gujarat.
The company has invested Rs 150 crore in the plant. The unit produces a wide range of steel pipes, wires, castings and copper wire rods.
With the commissioning of Phase-I, the capacity at the plant has augmented to 12,500 million tpa from 7,500 million tpa. This will be further enhanced to 25,000 million tpa by March 2015. A substantial portion of the expanded capacity will be used for exports.
The company has diversified businesses in auto components, castings, steel pipes, thermal engineering etc, and has plants in Britain and Saudi Arabia apart from the domestic market.
