Infosys, the IT major, will make its second Bhubaneswar campus operational by the end of June 2014. The campus will come up at the Info Valley complex, on the outskirts of the city in Orissa.
This will be the second campus set up by the IT major in the city after its software development centre at Infocity.
The campus is being developed on 50 acre land allotted to the company in the Info Valley complex, which is being developed by Orissa Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (Idco).
The water supply problem being faced by the Infosys building is yet to be sorted out, for which Idco has been directed to take steps to meet its immediate requirement.
The Orissa Power Transmission Corporation (OPTCL) has been asked to complete power connectivity to Info Valley by December 2014.
However, Infosys can operationalise its centre in this complex by drawing power from the 33 kV line of Central Electricity Supply Utility (CESU), a distribution company managed by Orissa Electricity Regulatory Commission (OERC).
