Indian Oil Corporation’s (IOCL) polypropylene unit is expected be commissioned in Odisha’s Paradip by June 2018.
The polypropylene unit with a capacity of 700 kilo tpa is being set up at an investment of Rs 3,150 crore. So far, about Rs 2,000 crore has been invested and construction work of over 70 percent is completed.
IOCL has already commissioned a 15 million tpa refinery at Paradip at an investment of Rs 35,000 crore and is set to produce BS-VI (Bharat Stage-VI) compliant fuel by 2020.
