JVL Agro Industries plans to set up a food park at Dehri, in Rohtas district of Bihar.
The food park project will come up over an area of 80 acre, with an investment of Rs 150 crore. The company will set up units related to the FMCG space in the food park.
JVL Agro has appointed International Lubrication & Fuel Consultant (ILFC), United States, as the consultant for the project.
The company is in the process of getting the final approval from the Ministry of Food Processing Industries for its proposed Dehri food park. In-principal approval was accorded to the project in December 2013.
As told to ProjectsToday, a detailed project report (DPR) is presently underway. The company is also in the process of achieving financial closure. The contractor for the project is yet to be finalised.
JVL Agro’s Sunflower oil processing plant at Haldia, in West Bengal, should start production by the next quarter.
