Larsen and Toubro (L&T) has secured a Rs 5,100 crore power plant order from state utility, Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company.
The project is located near village Dongalia in the Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh.
The turnkey order is for setting up a 2 x 660 MW supercritical thermal power project at Shree Singaji TPP, on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis.
The power plant order covers design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection and commissioning of two coal-fired thermal units of 660 MW each, with supercritical parameters.
The thermal power project is scheduled to be completed in 43 to 47 months.
