German luxury car maker, Mercedes Benz, is increasing its capacity at Chakan plant in Pune, Maharashtra.
The company is investing Rs 250 crore towards the expansion, to be increased from 10,000 units to 20,000 units.
Also, under dealership expansion plans, the company currently has 57 outlets in 32 cities and intends to expand its network.
In 2013, the company had inaugurated its outlets in New Delhi, NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Baroda, and Calicut and is expected to open one more in Gujarat.
