Phenix Spinning is setting up a cotton yarn unit in Amreli district of Gujarat.
As disclosed to ProjectsToday, the unit will have a capacity of 16,320 spindles.
Phenix Spinning has acquired 8.5 acre of land for this unit. The project entails an investment of Rs 50 crore.
It has appointed Tex Mech Engineers as the consultant and Jignest Patel (Ahmedabad) as the contractor. Reiter India and Schothorst (Germany) will supply machinery for this cotton yarn project.
Work on the cotton yarn unit is presently underway and is expected be commissioned by April 2015.
