ACME Sikar Solar, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings, has signed a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for a 300 MW solar power project in Rajasthan at a fixed tariff of Rs 3.05 per kWh. This agreement follows the successful commissioning of the project on 23 June, 2025.
The project was awarded under SECI’s inter-state transmission system (ISTS) Tranche XVIII, and the tariff was formally approved by the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) in May, 2025. As per the PPA terms, power supply must commence by 30 June, 2025. Since the project’s scheduled commercial operation date (SCOD) falls before the June 2025 deadline, it qualifies for ISTS charges waiver, in line with government incentives for early commissioning of renewable energy projects.
With this agreement, ACME Solar’s total PPA-backed capacity reaches 5,130 MW, of which 2,890 MW is operational. The remaining capacity is under implementation, and the company also has a 1,840 MW pipeline backed by letters of award (LOAs). Notably, 86 percent of its offtake is with central government entities, and 14 percent with State discoms.
