Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has secured 18 orders with a cumulative value of Rs 138.65 crore, during February 2014.
The largest contract worth Rs 63.79 crore was awarded by Power Mech Projects on 6 February, 2014. The order was secured for erection and commissioning of boiler and its auxiliaries of Unit-VII & VIII for RRVUNL, 2 x 660 MW, Stage-V, Suratgarh super critical thermal power station in Ganganagar district of Rajasthan, (Package-A).
This was followed by an order worth Rs 14.54 crore, from Bhavani Erectors. The order was awarded for dismantling of existing ESP internals and other components, and disposal of the same to scrap yard, transportation of materials from customer storage to site of work, and carrying out modifications as required, erection, testing and commissioning and application of insulation / cladding for the work of renovation and retrofitting of existing electrostatic precipitators and ducts for Package-I consisting of three units:- Unit-I, II (200 MW) & Unit-IV (500 MW) sets at Korba STP in Chhattisgarh.
