BHEL has invited bids for Stage-V of 2 x 660 MW Suratgarh supercritical thermal power project, in Ganganagar district of Rajasthan.
Bids have been invited for erection and commissioning of boiler and auxiliaries of Unit-VIII of the project for Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam (RRVUNL).
Suratgarh supercritical thermal power project involves expansion of the existing power project. Stage-V of the coal-based power project involves setting up of two units (Units-VII and VIII) of 660 MW. The total cost of the project is Rs 7,920 crore.
Recently, BHEL had invited bids for the civil, structural and architectural work etc, of the complete raw water reservoir, intake water pump house, raw water pump house, road to intake pump house, miscellaneous civil work etc. for the project.
