An electronic cluster in Bangalore has successfully raised Rs 14 crore from the central and state governments. It will help start-ups and small enterprises design, test and develop electronic devices.
It has received Rs 10 crore from the central government and another Rs two crore from its 25-odd member companies and the Karnataka government.
The plant is spread over 30,000 sq ft with common facilities including equipment to test products for their tolerance in temperature and humidity. It will be ready to operate in December and will assure faster turnaround of products.
