The GMR Group-led consortium has emerged as the lowest bidder in an
internationally competitive bid for the Chennai Outer Ring Road project in Tamil
Nadu on a design, build, finance, operate and transfer (annuity) (DBFOT) basis.
The Tamil Nadu Government is expected to issue the LoA to the consortium in a
few days time.
The Chennai Outer Ring Road project, measuring 29.65 km, entails design,
construction, development, finance, operation and maintenance of the six-lane
and two service lanes.
