JSW Cement, part of the JSW Group, plans to invest Rs 11,000 crore over the next three years to double its production capacity from 20 million tonne (MT) to 41 MT by 2028.
The expansion will include both organic and inorganic growth, with new facilities in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh contributing six MT, while 10 MT will come from expanding existing locations in Dolvi, Vijayanagar, and Talwandi Sabo. JSW Cement aims to reach 25 MT by the end of this financial year, and 60 MT in the long term. In addition, JSW’s Defence arm is setting up a V-BAT drone manufacturing facility in Hyderabad with an investment of Rs 1,200 crore.
The facility will produce 300 units annually, with export commitments for 50 units in the first year, increasing to 300 by the third year. JSW's Managing Director, Parth Jindal, emphasised that the larger orders will come once the facility is fully operational, marking a significant step in drone technology production.
