Kalyani Forge is all set to augment the capacity of its forging press line unit at Shirur near Pune, Maharashtra.
The company is looking forward to investing Rs 200 crore over three-five years, on modernisation, expansion and value addition. It plans to ramp up the capacity of its Pune facility by setting up a 6,000 tonne forging press line which will help to increase its output by 10,000-15,000 tonne. At present, the facility has 25,000 tonne capacity. The company plans to finance the proposed expansion through internal accruals and has no plans in the near future to raise more equity.
