The Unity Mall project in Karnal, valued at Rs 162.88 crore, is progressing steadily following its environmental clearance.
Located on a 3.87-acre site along the Grand Trunk (GT) Road in Sector 37, the mall will showcase India’s diverse MSME products, particularly those under the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative. Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi praised the rapid excavation work and instructed strict adherence to the construction schedule. He emphasised the project's potential, citing Karnal’s growing industrial role and its strategic position in the National Capital Region (NCR).
The mall will also serve as a permanent exhibition centre, a B2B networking hub, and a tourist attraction, contributing to the Union Government’s goals of promoting indigenous industries and boosting inter-state trade.
