McNally Bharat Engineering Company has bagged the Rs 532 crore contract for development of Raghunathpur Thermal Power Project in West Bengal.
The order has been received from Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), for civil and structural work for main plant area including boiler and TG foundation, as well as for chimney and elevator construction package at the energy company's proposed thermal power project. The package has to be completed within the next 45 months.
DVC involves setting up of a 2X600 MW coal-based thermal power project at Raghunathpur in Purulia district. Reliance Infrastructure is the contractor for the project.
